Choose Viaro in 2025: Be in Control of Your Healthcare

Do you have a few thoughts about what you might like to do or change in your life? It may be year-end, but don’t automatically think of New Year’s resolution, because “resolution” is a very complex word. It can mean the usual New Year’s promise to do or not do something, but it can also be more profound. Resolution is also the process of finding out the direction and strength of a vector. Vector is from the Latin vehere, and it literally means “carrier” or course. Regardless of disease or health knowing the vector, you have control.

At Viaro, we refer to this control as “agency.” You have agency or power over your actions, and the interventions that can keep you well. That’s not the usual case in traditional healthcare, where interventions are used or not used, based upon your out-of-pocket costs or what your health insurance will cover. It’s inevitable. Interventions are often expensive, and your agency is lost.

We are firm in our commitment to you to be transparent, honest, respectful and responsible with your trust, and your funds. With the torrent of controversy that surrounds healthcare in our Nation right now, as we endure, we must adapt and be resilient. If Viaro quality healthcare is to be sustainable, we must thoughtfully transform, and we do so with your best interests at heart.

The Viaro model of care is defined by high-quality, compassionate healthcare delivered by a team focused on getting you the right care at the right time to support your whole health. Teams that provide you with the care you need in the most supportive ways possible.

At the center of the care team is you.

What does “agency” and the state of healthcare have to do with “resolution?” Simply put, if you choose Viaro for primary care, expect innovation. Expect better. What we ask of our members is to resolve to find your strengths and the direction you want your healthcare to take. If you are a new Direct Primary Care (DPC) member, your first visit can and should be with one of our provider team members to discover your baseline health, and what your healthcare needs are.

The Viaro DPC model of care is defined by high-quality, compassionate healthcare delivered by a team focused on getting you the right care at the right time to support your whole health. Teams that provide you with the care you need in the most supportive ways possible.

At the center of the care team is you, and your team includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapeutic and behavioral health specialists, and nursing and support staff in collaboration with a medical director. Each has a specific role in supporting your health. Through collaboration, your care is delegated to the right team member for the attention and care you need.

Having a care team has many benefits. Rather than depending on just one provider, you now have the support of an entire team. If you need a specialist, your care team will connect you to the right person. When it's time for your annual preventive exam, your care team keeps you on track. You also can access care more quickly because you have a team prepared to meet your needs.

Find your resolution. Find your strength. Take advantage of a baseline visit to discuss any health questions or concerns you have. The things your team learns allows them to better understand your needs, improve your experience, and ensure that you receive the best care and resources. This visit is not a substitute for your annual physical, but if you are new to Viaro DPC, let us find your resolution. Your direction and strength. Regardless of disease or health, know your baseline, know your vectors. You have control.
